Bereits 2007 wurde mit der Entwicklung eines <strong>photothermischen Sensitizers (PTT)<\/strong> begonnen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Gegensatz zur altherk\u00f6mmlichen <strong>PDT<\/strong> (Blauer Farbstoff) ist die Wirkungsweise nicht durch die Bildung von Singulett-Sauerstoff begr\u00fcndet, sondern durch die hohe Absorption unserer Wellenl\u00e4nge auf den gr\u00fcnen Farbstoff. Es entstehen \u201eHitzepeaks\u201c, die die Zellmembranen aufbrechen und die kranken Keime absterben lassen. Vorteil: <strong>Gesundes Gewebe<\/strong> nimmt den Farbstoff nicht an und kann somit auch nicht zerst\u00f6rt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Ein weiterer Vorteil ist au\u00dferdem die Delegierbarkeit ans Fachpersonal.<\/p>\n<p>Die Entwicklung von <strong>perio green<\/strong> wurde durch die Universit\u00e4t in Bonn unter der Federf\u00fchrung von Prof. Dr. Matthias Frentzen an der Poliklinik f\u00fcr Parodontologie begleitet.
